Peyton Anslem
Five-year old Peyton began kindergarten this fall at Berwick Elementary where he is mainstreamed in a regular education classroom with 19 students.  Peyton can recite the alphabet, counts to twelve, knows his colors and shapes and can even spell his first name.   A para-professional assists him with his writing and reading, but for the most part, he is independent.  Way to go, Peyton!  We are proud of you !

Morgan Zerangue
Morgan Zerangue had a great time this year as a member of the front ensemble in the Comeaux Band.  He learned his music and was able to perform without assistance.  He looks so handsome in uniform.

Adam Gilmore
Adam Gilmore became an Altar Boy for Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Broussard and served his first Mass on Sunday, Oct. 26th.

Ellie Grace Guidry
Ellie Grace Guidry is 18 months old now and is about to take her first step anyday.  She loves playing in her kitchen and talking on the phone.

Dave McAllister
Dave McAllister competed in the National Invitational PGA Tournament for Special Olympics in Port St. Lucie, FLA.  He represented Acadiana in 18 holes taking home 4th Place.

Acadiana Special Forces Swim Team
Acadiana Special Forces Swim Team competed in State Indoor Games for Special Olympics.  They received a total of 49 medals and won 4th place in the State.

YAC
DSAA’s Young Adults meet to play WII and enjoy some quality time together.    YAC meet on a regular basis for FUN, FUN, and more FUN.
